I
first became interested in the value of hypnotherapy
through my work as a speech & language therapist
specializing in stammer. Although I now work with a
variety of problems entirely as a clinical
hypnotherapist, I have retained my interest in
communication disorders, especially stammer and voice
loss or strain.
I
originally trained as a speech therapist and gained a
BSc(Hons) in Speech Therapy from the Central School of
Speech & Drama in London. I then attended Kings College,
London where I gained an MSc in Gerontology. Following
this I worked for many years as a speech & language
therapist in both the private sector and in the NHS. I
specialized in adult stammer and neurology.
I attended the BST Foundation at the School of Health & Hygiene, London University where I gained a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. I now work as a hypnotherapist and have practice in Islington.
I am currently a member of The Society of Brief Strategic HypnoTherapists. I am also on the General Hypnotherapy Register.
